6) Being able to run the ball in College Football has always been a key factor in the overall success of a team.
The same adage also goes for teams who have the ability to stop the run. Putting these two factors together can produce a positive result in gambling because there is minimal risk for turnovers with teams that possess a dominating running game.

I like to use this system… It doesn’t take scrutinizing tons of stats which can be draining. Read on if you like and try it, if not no big deal.

Most people who have placed wagers on Major League Baseball should know that any team can win on any given day.
Underdogs will beat favorites,and home teams will lose.

The worst team can beat the best team or even Phillies pitcher Roy Halladay will lose a game, as will Cliff Lee.

These heavily favored pitchers will also win more than they lose but will carry with them extremely low paying odds for their team.
There are a lot of angles and stats and systems you can choose to go with betting MLB.  You can chase hot pitchers, era’s, whips, winning streaks, etc. If you are reading this I’m sure you know other ways  that you may have tried.

*Along with the many ways and systems are different ways to bet.  Any system that contains tactical wagering is always smart. To bottom line all this is to say anything can happen on any day when wagering on Baseball.
If you have money riding on an outcome of a Baseball game, you know how difficult and unnerving it can be just to watch.

OK relax and lets talk logic for a moment.

Can we agree that teams with winning records win more games than teams with losing records? Sure we can!
We should also agree that Favorites win 55% of games played while underdogs win 45%.
We should agree that Sportsbooks usually and mostly always show the home team of having more than 50% of the day’s card as the favorite. Right?
As a matter of fact its usually 4 or 5 games out of the 13-15 in which the home team is a dog!
(Probably due to and uneven pitching matchup which may favor the road team, they’re just a better team or whatever.)
In Baseball  its common for  underdogs to win games everyday. The problem is finding which ones on the card.

Underdogs are good to find because of their price.

Go back to the idea that winning teams win more than losing teams.

Everyday look at the card and find all the teams with a less than -.500 record as a favorite at home.
You’ll usually find 2-5 teams.

Look at who they are playing. Its obvious that its either a winning team or a losing team, and  then note the money line.

Better if its a winning team but it doesn’t really matter.

Lets say there’s 4

Compare the Money lines of these 4 “ROAD DOGS” and note the 2 teams with the lowest odds..In other words the two closest to 100.

Example:

Florida Marlins +112 @ Washington Nationals-116
Seaattle Mariners +135 @ Baltimore Orioles -145
Arizona DBacks +105 @ Los Angeles Dodgers -115
Chicago Whitesox +133 @ Minnesota Twins – 130

These four HOME Favorites all have losing records. (2011 July)

Its difficult enough for losing teams to keep up striving for .500 even at home.. We can make it even worse for them.
TAKE A RUN AND A HALF FROM THEM and make them win by two. Yes!
Pick the two best underdogs in this case its Arizona and Florida and put them in a 2 team +1.5 run parlay.
The usual price for a team getting a run and a half will be -170 to -220. If we just say its an avg of -200
a $100 2 team parlay will pay $128 .

Summary:

*Find all -.500 home favorites with losing records

* Choose the two best (lowest) money lines  of the road dogs facing these -.500 teams

* Choose to take the +1.5 runs line

* Parlay the two to create an avg +128 payoff

Your best case scenario is +.500 teams as dogs up against -.500 teams as HOME favorites, (and taking the +1.5 run in a 2 team parlay).

Its a system that does pretty well when wagered properly. Prices keep changing  from the night before, but once you know the teams with losing records you’ll  start to see the teams jump out at you everyday that are bets. Also it’ll give you some peace of mind that you start  every game+1.5 -0.!   GOOD also for Straight up  betting for these types as well. Good Luck!!
